As part of our sports exchange with our friends in Euskirchen, Germany, our year 5 children and their visiting friends took part in the traditional English game of rounders on the freshly cut and freshly lined pitch.  Despite being overcast, the desire to win was evident among all.  The sportsmanship that was shown was exemplary and all went away with the prize of prestige!  St Mary's were in danger of a draw until the final ball, when we scraped a final half-rounder to finish victors.

All in all a wonderful time and hopefully a lasting joyful memory.  Click here to see more images of the day.
