Over the last few weeks, teams of children have been producing the decorations for our entry into this year's church Christmas tree festival.

This year's theme was 'The Holly and the Ivy'.  Our tree then joined the many others from across our local area for the Christmas Tree Festival at St Mary's Church.

I am sure that those of you who came to listen to the Old Basing Infant School singing club and our Junior Choir, enjoyed looking around at the wide variety of trees and could appreciate the creativity that had gone into producing them. We were thrilled to win the most 'eco' tree with our decorations made from recycled materials and our holly leaves with hopes for the future of Gods planet.
