Safari Pete visits year 5

Safari Pete came to visit year 5 to help in their Geography learning about different biomes of the world.

Pete returned to St Mary's following his successful trip from 2017. The children were able to see a British Barn Owl, a type of constrictor snake, a rainforst frog, a monitor lizard, two meerkats and a host of othe animals from around our world's different biomes.  All the children were able to stroke Jay-z, the young Nile crocodile, who was a snapper, (not a rapper!).  Some of the children were also invited to hold some of the other animmals.  Visit our photo gallery to see more.

A truly memorable visit and a super addition to our Geography learning this term.
