Following on from the school's cross country championship, three of our children were selected to represent Basingstoke in the Hampshire finals - no mean feat for two year 5 pupils. They joined more than a hundred children from across the county for this race. Following the recent wet weather the going was really tough, in true cross country fashion, and there were reports of slips, slides and missing shoes throughout the race. All of our children persevered well, completed the race and finished in very commendable middle of the field places. Well done to all three children and the rest of the Basingstoke team in some quite tough conditions. Thanks once again for the support from the parents in making their participation possible
