On Monday the under 11s team table tennis competition took place at Costello.  We entered 1 team of boys and 1 team of girls and competed against other teams from Marnell, Oakley and Rucstall.  After a mixture of wins and losses in the first 2 rounds, the boy's managed to reach the semi finals.  After narrowly being beaten by Marnell A in the semis, we then had a nail-biting play off for 3rd place where we were the eventual winners and won bronze medals!

The girl's team managed to beat all 3 other schools and were the eventual winners, winning gold medals and earning themselves a place in the County Final on Thursday 7th November at Testwood Sports College, Southampton.  This was an amazing achievement for both teams, bearing in mind the teams were only put together last week and they were competing against Year 6's (our Year 6's are currently away at Calshot).   All the children were incredibly well behaved, polite and supportive of each other so a big well done to: Jamie, Henry, Sam, Peter, Anaya, Isobel, Hannah & Katie.  A big thanks also to all the parents who came along and supported
