On Thursday 26^th September, the Year Six pupils were treated to a phenomenally thrilling performance of William Shakespeare’s classic tale of tragedy and murder – Macbeth! The renowned Young Shakespeare Company brought their unique blend of excellent acting and informative explanation to St. Mary’s and held the children spellbound as they told the story of the weird witches, the grasping Lady Macbeth and her villainous husband.

The children are now writing their own review of the performance and this provides an excellent opportunity to demonstrate both their newly-acquired knowledge of this timeless play and the broader writing skills that they have been developing in class.
