Mrs Brittain reports back...

Monday - "An enjoyable first day at Calshot.  Made it out trawling Southampton waters with an interesting catch and have hit the ski slopes as well as the initiative course which has got some of us thinking hard!  Very tiring day so have all welcomed our beds and look forward to what the rest of the week holds."

Tuesday - We've battled the elements making rafts...which were certainly easier to move up wind!  We've scoured the beaches for crabs and sea life as the sea was too rough for the trawler.  In addition we have continued to master skiing and climbing which hasn't been easy but everyone's given it a go!  The forest created some shelter from the wind as we orienteered ourselves around 3 courses and the hot chocolate and flap jacks kept us going at break times!  Last night some of us collapsed in front of a film and the rest of us slid down the slopes in ringos.  All tired out again so we were grateful for bedtime!

Wednesday - The day started with an unbelievable sunrise, the sea breeze and the children giggling on the shore.  Through the day we managed to make it out on Southampton waters in the kayaks as well as continuing to perfect our skills on skis and up climbing walls.  We can't believe only 1 full day is left!  The children continue to make us proud with their efforts and behaviour.
