The year 3/4 girls were the first to set off, with Jessie and Fiona setting the pace and giving their teams an excellent start. Naomi, Katerina and Harriet followed on from Jessie and completed the race 1600 metres later, with a huge lead and a fantastic sprint finish from Harriet. Brooke, Isabel and Georgina worked together and put on an impressive display.

The year 3/4 boys were next to compete with Leo, Oliver, Alfie and Bailey securing another amazing win. Not to be outdone Zane, Charles, Zak and Jeremy received the bronze medal for their superb team work.

Our year 5/6 girls were in high spirits and ready to show their swiftness with Olivia, Anaya, Maddie and Isabel virtually sprinting all the way to the finish line a good 75 metres ahead of the 2nd team. Ivana, Libby, Charlotte and Sienna also ran an impressive fast race.

The final relay of the day arrived for our year 5/6 boys who had some strong opposition to contend with. Nevertheless Louis, Charlie, Alex, Joseph, George, Jimmy, Aidan and Adam all ran a commendable race demonstrating team spirit and sportsmanship which is paramount in our school.

Overall, we had 3 wins out of 4 races a wonderful achievement; we have very talented children of which we are extremely proud.

Well done to all of our athletes and a huge thank you to all the adults who assisted with transport and helped Mrs White, Mrs Wyeth and myself to ensure yet another successful sporting event.
