Year 6 - Evolution and woolly worms

In Science this week, Year 6 became birds and explored the impact of colour, length and 'hiding capability' of worms when trying to 'eat' them.  We then discussed how this affects the worms' ability to survive and pass on its genes to its offspring, concluding that being a dark coloured, long worm which can't hide would not be a good thing!
