Year 5 - bottle rocket experiment
Year 5, at the conclusion of the space topic, experimented with some bottle rockets! The aim of the experiment was to determine how different factors affected the distance the rocket flew. In our photos, you can see rockets being prepared and flying into the daytime sky! We tested how the amount of fuel (in this case water), the angle of the launch and the weight of the nose affected the distance travelled. As you can see, the children also had a lot of fun with this experiment!
