Note regarding Brass Band and String Orchestra
The Brass Band and String Orchestra are groups specifically run by our instrumental teachers to give pupils quality ensemble training in their instrumental group. This is very much part of learning a musical instrument and they will start learning music for the festival very soon. Instrumental teachers will let you know if your child is involved but this generally involves the majority of players who are beyond the beginner level. Private pupils are very welcome to join these groups. Our woodwind pupils are entering the festival on a different day and parents will have already heard from Mrs Jones regarding this.
