Here at St Mary's CE Junior School, we work with our local infant school, Old Basing Infants to provide both breakfast club and after-school care.
Old Basing Infant School operates a Breakfast Club that is open to families with children and St. Mary's Junior School.
The club runs from 7:45am to 8:35am in the school hall and, when the weather allows, on the school field. The charge is currently £5.00 per session. Children can arrive anytime within the Breakfast Club period, but breakfast will only be provided to children who arrive before 8:15am. The charge will be the same whatever time children arrive.
The numbers are limited and so places must be booked in advance. Children cannot turn up without a booking having been made. Bookings should be made at least 24 hours ahead. Any non-attendance will not be refunded unless the school is aware of an illness or other emergency situation.
Breakfasts of cereal and toast with milk or water to drink will be provided, with other options being offered on an occasional basis, such as crumpets, muffins or porridge.
Children are escorted to St Mary's at 8:35am by Breakfast Club staff.
If you would like to access the Breakfast Club for your child, please speak to a member of Old Basing Infant office staff who will be able to help you. Alternatively, the office staff at St Mary's would also be more than happy to help.
SCL provide after-school care for both children at Old Basing Infants and St Mary's on the Infant school site from 3.15pm-6.00pm every school day.
