At St Mary’s CE Junior School, we are proud to welcome the majority of our pupils from Old Basing Infant School, with whom we enjoy a strong and supportive relationship. This close connection ensures a smooth and nurturing transition for children as they move from Key Stage 1 into Key Stage 2. Additionally, we recognise that children from other primary and infant schools will look to join St Mary's. We work hard to ensure they feel welcomed and transition smoothly, into our already nurturing and loving One Family.
As our pupils grow and prepare for the next stage of their education, we work closely with our local secondary school, The Costello School, where many of our children continue their learning journey. We value the partnerships we have with our feeder secondary school and work collaboratively to ensure every child is well-prepared, confident and excited about the future. To achieve this, we participate in: open evenings, sporting events, whole year group visits and many more enrichment opportunities.
