Curriculum evening 2012

On Thursday 27th September there was a year 3 curriculum evening.

There was mention of an 8 minute video about growth mindsets and learning - here is the link to it .  At St Mary's we teach an approach to learning akin to the growth mindset, this video explains it more and also has some excellent practical tips within parenting.

Despite recording the evening we are unable to upload it at present due to restrictions on file size - something for us to look into clearly!  If you think you could help on this do contact Mr Rundle via the school office.

There were 3 questions at the end of the evening which were:

• When will parentmail be up and running? - We have been told by parentmail that it takes 4 to 6 weeks to migrate the details across from infant schools.
• Could we have a parent briefing about Anti-bullying week and the content? We will think this through and let you know but in principle this seems reasonable.
• Could the open days not always be on a Thursday please?  We will look into this - there seems at present no reason why not.
