Inspired by celebrity marathons (Eddie Izzard Marathon Man anyone)?  Wanting to challenge yourself to run a whole mile without stopping?  Perhaps just keen to support other St Mary's family members?

These were some of the reasons that children, staff and parents alike all took part in our mile for money today.  We had an excellent time, the weather was kind although a little chilly for those not running and all year groups set a wonderful supportive tone with one another.  The amount we have raised is ​yet to be confirmed but what we do know is that the school community really embraced this delightful challenge today.
