Year 3 Visit Rockbourne Roman Villa

On Wednesday all of year 3 enjoyed an amazing trip to Rockbourne Roman Villa in Fordingbridge. Please read our report about our trip.

On Wednesday we went to Rockbourne Roman Villa and this is what we did. We made flooring that is called a mosaic.  We used tiny coloured tiles to create spectacular mosaics. We also became archaeologists touching and holding artefacts.  While we were there we also looked at the remains of the Roman villa which were interesting. The patterns on the floor were really nice, they have lasted hundreds of years!  We all had lots of fun on our trip and would recommend other people visit Rockbourne!
