On Tuesday 26th Febraury the upper and lower school were treated to live brass music.

Jon Riches, our local brass teacher, performed the James Bond theme tune on a trombone made of plastic as well as welcoming us into the hall using his preferred instrument - the tuba.  The children enjoyed hearing "Old MacDonald had a farm..." as well as some new music too.

To play a brass instrument you need to blow a raspberry.  So, we were invited to have a go at blowing a raspberry.  This caused much amusement and anyone passing must have wondered what was going on!

Finally, those who wanted to had a go on some of the instruments as well.

Lessons are available for pupils to take part and letters can be obtained from the office.
