Flower Festival at St Mary's Church
Last weekend the school joined parishioners and the local community at the Flower Festival. The church looked beautiful, full of a variety of displays based on the theme of 'Over the Rainbow'. A group of pupils who have attended our Flower Arranging Club lead by Mrs Cosgrove produced a stunning display. Thank you to all the other pupils who created rainbows as part of the display.
The packed church was entertained by members of both the Upper and Lower school choirs and we were joined for part of the concert by the Infant school choir. All the children sang a 'rainbow medley' ending with a rousing rendition of barbecue Blues. Well done to the children who were brave enough to sing solos and it was great to see anothe pupil playing all of the accompanying music. Thanks once again to Mrs Malone and all the choir members.
