Runners of all shapes , sizes and ages turned out for the F.O.O.B.S fun run last Sunday. Despite the rather inclement weather, entries were up on last year including a significant of late entries on the day. With the forecast showing an improving picture as the day went on, everyone was hoping for a break in the weather. However, this was not to be, as the time came ever closer for the start of each of the races, 10k, 6k and 2k, the rain just seemed to come down even harder! Even with the challenges of the weather and the course each and every runner completed the course and most finished with a smile on their face. Well done to everyone who took part in the races and especially to the 81 entries from St Mary's and the many much younger children from the infants who also took part. A huge thank you to all of the organisers and volunteers who made this fantastic community event possible.
