To kick-start our History topic for this half term, the Year 5 teachers set up a coordinates grid with lots of different objects in.  Each object gave us a clue about our new topic and we had to piece together the evidence to work out which time period we would be studying.  We worked out that we would be learning about the significance of Basing House during the Tudor and Stuart times, including the Civil War.  We had lots of questions about our new topic so each class created a Wonder Wall to remind us to come back to them as we go through the topic.
