      Published 03/03/22

At St. Mary's, we know that reading is one of the most important things that a child can do. We know that World Book Day is an important day in highlighting that importance to everyone!

Over the course of the week, each class has based its learning on a picture book. This has become a St. Mary's tradition. In the photos attached to this news article, you can see children enjoying reading or exploring their own reading books during this very special week.

For further information about World Book Day, please visit: https://www.worldbookday.com/2021/09/world-book-day-2022-announcements/

and for more specific information related to the £1 books, please see this page: https://www.worldbookday.com/books/

Tonight, please take some time to enjoy books as a family and see if you can find any great books on our ePlatform (http://stmarysjun-hantssls.eplatform.co/), at your local library or at a bookshop near you!
