Singing amongst the flowers
Choirs from St Mary's and Old Basing Infants sing to a packed church
Children from Old Basing Infant School Singing Club joined us for a concert on Saturday 25th June at St Mary's Church. Choir members in years 3, 4 and 5 sang beautifully a range of songs with a focus on Summer and Jubilee.
Amongst the beautiful setting of the church in bloom from the flower festival, the children sang out joyfully to entertain a packed church. The music really brought something special to the people listening and helped make the annual event such a great success.
Thank you to Mrs Chittey for accompanying the children so well and Bravo to the Infant singing club - we hope they will soon be singing for St Mary's!
