A time traveller visits...

With the help of the Oxenwood centre, Edward - The Saxon - came to visit year 4 this week

The children learnt so much about the era Edward was from as well as cooking bread on an open fire, making a torq and learning how to fight as a team with tight shields - a shield wall - so that we could defeat the Danes who were taking over our beloved Wessex.

We won.

Edward then returned to his real time in the time machine.
