Global Freinds Day - Mityana Charity

Today, the children took part in Global Friends Uganda Day to learn more about our link school in Katakala, Uganda and raise money for the Mityana Charity to support education.  Children used their talents to create African art and footballs made from old plastic bags. We were fortunate to see some artwork and a photo album from a 2018 visit to Katakala courtesy of Rosey Marsh. Reverend Dodie led our Act of Worship and showed the children how their care, understanding and Action has helped to build a new much-needed toilet block at the school.
