    St Mary's Junior school has won first prize for the best single container as part of our entry for the Schools Basingstoke in Bloom competition gained first prize. The judges were very complimentary about all of the pots and the overall look of our courtyard garden. Well done to Mrs Pellett and her team of lunchtime gardeners (Maya, Clara, Amelai, Tess, Rosalind and Sienna with a special mention to Hannah for her help with the final clear up with the rest of the team before the judges came) for all their hard work.

  • Year 6 Kwik Cricket County Final Winners!

    On Thursday 4th July, the Year 6 Kwik Cricket Team won the County Finals Kwik Cricket Competition at The Ageas Bowl! They are now through to the Kwik Cricket Regional Finals at The Ageas Bowl on Tuesday 16th July. Well done boys!

  • Team GB Olympian visits!

    On Tuesday 13th November the Olympian, Alex Danson visited St Mary’s Junior school.  She shared her experiences of training as well as what she and the GB team had to do to win.  It was motivational and she rocked!  Be a penguin and not a polar bear.

  • Outdoor classroom arrives!

    During the October half-term holiday the outdoor area had a makeover. With a donation from the PTA we have had installed an outside classroom and some new picket fencing as well as some new benches. We are now awaiting the flooring for the area but all in all are thrilled with the improvements. Many thanks to all who contributed to this wonderful development.
