150 Years Family Picnic
The sun came out for our family picnic.
On Friday 10th June, family and friends joined us for a family picnic as part of our celebrations for the 150th anniversary of our school. The field was full of families who came well-prepared for all weathers, with picnic rugs and hampers and I believe one or two umbrellas at the ready. Despite the earlier loomig grey skies the sun came out to join in our celebrations and in fact many families then retreated to sit in the shade. It was lovely to see so many extended families come together for this event, with many groups including three generations. Lots of the talk was reminiscing about when parents and in fact grandparents had attended the school themselves. Thank you to all of of you who came and especially for your patience in queueing up to sign in and collect your children. Look out for an article in the Basingstoke Gazette as well.
