A Christmas message...
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the fantastic support you have given us over this last term in particular. It has been a busy one but thoroughly enjoyable and with many highlights we would like to share with you in this newsletter.
During the Advent season, I have been privileged to watch the junior choir sing at the Christmas Tree Festival and the senior choir and recorder group perform at our Christmas Carol Service. Finally, the orchestra performed at the annual Light up a Life concert supporting Naomi House and Jack’s Place. They played incredibly well and were very professional in their behaviour, especially as they had to sit for some time both before the service and while another choir performed. Well done to everyone involved in all of these events and thank you so much for all of your wonderful comments on the days.
This week the children have enjoyed their Christmas parties – there were some fantastic festive jumpers on display! We all really enjoyed our annual carol service on Wednesday night, it was lovely to see so many families and friends at church. Thank you for your very kind donations to this year’s chosen charity. We raised over £290 for the Christian Aid Peace Makers Appeal.
Finally, I would like to wish all of you a very Happy Christmas and I look forward to welcoming you back on Monday 7th January.
