On Monday 17th June, Year 6 spent the afternoon in Bramley experiencing ‘Think Safe’. Think Safe is an event run by the Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council. The focus is safety, of course, but also learning about it in a fun and engaging way. We engaged in activities linked to road safety, train safety, first aid, mental health and cyber safety. The workshops built upon the learning in school and showed the children the importance of keeping safe and thinking about our overall wellbeing. The children were commended by the volunteers on the site for their excellent behaviour and their willingness to participate in the learning taking place. A fantastic afternoon overall – we hope that the children take the lessons forward with them to secondary school and beyond!
