It is a new school year and we have been busy! We have recruited a new Global Friends' team and the children have shared lots of ideas about what they would like to happen over the next few months.  Our first decision was to choose a Christmas present for our sponsored child, Herbert, who lives in Uganda.  The Global Friends' team voted to buy him a blanket to make his bed more comfortable and a pig to raise and hopefully bring his family some wealth and happiness.  Secondly, it is World Toilet Day on the 19th November and we will be raising funds for our link school in Katakala, Uganda.  Currently, they do not have a clean and safe toilet block and we would like to help them change this. If you would like to make a personal donation in response to this, please speak to Miss Sherlock - it will be greatly appreciated.
