An excellent all round team performance saw players competing in all areas of the field, reaching the ¼ finals. Unfortunately the ball just would not go in the opponents net despite many near misses including hits on the crossbar except for 2 well deserved goals against Tadley. This was the first time the team had competed together but they learnt some valuable lessons and with team spirit held their heads high finishing 2^nd in their group. This tournament provided the St. Mary’s players the opportunity to demonstrate the respect for each other, opponents and officials at all times. Well done to our year 6 boys.
