St Mary’s took 8 Year 6’s to a competition at the Vyne Community Secondary school to take part in the district Quads-kids competition. We had 4 girls and 4 boys competing in a 75metre sprint, 600metre run, Vortex Howler throw and a standing long jump. They had to compete in all four activities. All athletes represented the school fantastically and were a credit to the school. This was shown as another school teacher said how caring and respectful our children were to other participants during the event. With our fantastic effort being shown throughout the year we showed once again that St Mary’s can compete at a high level as we finished FIRST taking home another trophy to add to our wonderful collection. I would like to say a huge well done to all the participants who took part as they represented the school amazingly.
