On Tuesday 9^th June, Miss Shore took seven year 6 children to Down Grange in order to play in a hockey tournament against other schools in the Basingstoke area. Despite the group having never played hockey together as a team before, they showed fantastic organisation skills, even talking tactics whilst having their lunch before the tournament! The team won all four of their games convincingly, 3-0; 3-0; 2-0 and 3-0, played the game in great spirit and showed excellent sportsmanship by taking the time to shake the opposition’s hands at the end of the match.  Well done St Mary’s Hockey Team!
