On Monday 18^th January, boys and girls teams from year 5/6 went to the Costello School to compete in the 1^st round of the Indoor Athletics.

The event included children competing in sprints, speed bounce, javelin, chest push, target through, long jump, triple jump and relays.

One of our proudest moments of the afternoon, was winning all 4 relay races, our baton change overs were perfect, gaining us an unassailable lead, impressing all the supporting parents.

The final results were first place for both of our teams putting them through to the county finals once again.

A superb atmosphere filled the Sports Hall with phenomenal team spirit from all our pupils making this a great experience for all.
