Anti Bullying Week 2011

In November 2005 we held our first anti bullying week.

In November 2005 we held our first anti bullying week. Six years on and our Anti Bullying work is still going strong.  National Anti Bullying Week 2011 is focused on 'Stop and Think: Words Can Hurt' and will see the children take part in many different activities around the theme of bullying.  We will also once again be working alongside the Infant school, giving the children opportunities to share work with each other.

On Friday 18th November we will all being going dotty and spotty during our 'show your spots' day.  This is to raise money for Children in Need which gives money to many vulnerable groups of children who are often the victims of bullying.  All children will be asked to come dressed in something spotty during this day.  We will also be challenging the classes to see which class can make the biggest spot out of silver coins - so start collecting!!

The views of children and parents are important in our anti bullying work.  As such we would ask you to take a few minutes to complete the survey relevant to your childs year group.
