What makes a good spy? |
'Our spy topic was so much fun. On spy day we got to go orienteering round Old Basing village. We also got to do lots of fun activities such as: pea shooting, going across the balance trail with a cup full of water, played with a parachute and kicked balls into target hoops. Also we got to make little potato men and added carrots, broccoli, cucumber, and sweet corn. As well as spy day we made some little spy people which we collaged. In art we hid some spy gadgets in our paintings inspired by Klee. We created a map for our spy stories, which were covered in coffee to make it look old.’ Sajan &Charlotte

Who were the Tudors? | The most educational part of our topic was going to the Mary Rose museum. We learnt how to load a cannon! We also learnt the different statuses in the Tudor period as well as what the clothes were made of. We were amazed at what the barbers surgeon used to heal the sailors additionally what injuries you could get in the Tudor navy. The thing we most enjoyed was when we had to guess what Tudor artefacts were used for and what they were. As well as that when we got back we had to write a letter to persuade Mrs Welch so she would let the year 4’s go on the Mary Rose trip. Tabitha and Ruadhan
