I warmly welcome you to our family of St Mary’s Junior School. Whether you are thinking of joining us as part of our Year 2 transition or part of the way through Key Stage 2, I am sure that as you spend time looking at our website you will, like us, be excited about all of the opportunities our school has to offer.
We are proud to be a voluntary aided church school in the Dioceses of Winchester and have strong links with our parish church of St Mary’s. The school originally started in the Bolton Chapel of the church in 1865 and to this day remains at the heart of the village community.

"Pupils are proud to be part of the ‘One Family’ in this school. They enjoy the strong friendships they form and the considerate way that pupils treat each other."
"High quality provision for religious education (RE) and collective worship strongly contributes to pupils’ spiritual development. This is further strengthened by the extremely supportive partnership that has been established between the local church and the school."
